ALLIANCE OVERVIEW

I. Introduction
       

        A. Mission Statement
               - To glorify God through unified worship, faith, and service, being a benefit and blessing to all churches under our jurisdiction.


        B. Vision Statement

              - To be a beacon of unity, faith, and service, fostering spiritual growth and community development.

 

        C. Scriptural Foundation
               - 1. Unity: "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." (Ephesians 4:3)
               - 2. Faith: "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." (Hebrews 11:1)

               - 3. Service: "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Mark 10:45)

II. Core Values
     

        A. Unity
                  - Promoting harmony and cooperation among member churches.

                  - Scripture: "How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1)
     

        B. Faith
                 - Strengthening trust and belief in God through sound doctrine and spiritual practices.
                 - Scripture: "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards                          those who earnestly seek him." (Hebrews 11:6)

 

        C. Service
                  - Commitment to serving the needs of congregations and communities with love and compassion.
                  - Scripture: "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."

                    (1 Peter 4:10)

III. Organizational Structure
             

        A. Leadership Team
                  - Roles and responsibilities (e.g. First Vice, etc.).
                  - Scripture: "Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith."                                    (Hebrews 13:7)


             B. Advisory Board
                 - Composed of representatives from member churches.
                 - Scripture: "Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety." (Proverbs 11:14)
               

             C. Committees and Subcommittees

                  - Examples: Outreach, Worship, Education, Community Service, Youth Ministry.

 

 

IV. Key Objectives
           

        A. Spiritual Growth and Development
                  - Organizing retreats, Bible studies, and prayer meetings to deepen faith and unity.
                  - Scripture: "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen." (2 Peter 3:18)

 

              B. Education and Training
                   - Providing workshops, seminars, and leadership training for church leaders and members.
                   - Scripture: "Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

                     (2 Timothy 2:15)

 

         C. Community Outreach and Service
                    - Engaging in community service projects, evangelism, and mission work to embody Christ’s love.
                    - Scripture: "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds." (Hebrews 10:24)

 

         D. Support and Resources
                    - Offering financial aid, counseling services, and resource sharing among churches.
                    - Scripture: "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:2)

 

 

V. Programs and Activities
               

         A. Worship and Fellowship Events

                    - Joint worship services, concerts, and fellowship dinners to strengthen unity.
                    - Scripture: "They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." (Acts 2:42)

 

         B. Educational Initiatives
                    - Connection to a Bible college(s), ordination training, Sunday school programs, and online courses to deepen faith.
                    - Scripture: "The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple." (Psalm 119:130)

 

         C. Service Projects
                    - Food drives, clothing donations, and disaster relief efforts to serve communities.

                    - Scripture: "If you offer your food to the hungry and satisfy the needs of the afflicted, then your light shall rise in the darkness and your gloom be                         like the noonday." (Isaiah 58:10)

 

         D. Youth and Children’s Ministries
                    - Camps, Vacation Bible School, and youth group activities to nurture the next generation.
                    - Scripture: "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

 

 

VI. Communication and Collaboration
         

         A. Regular Meetings
                    - Monthly or quarterly meetings with representatives from member churches to foster collaboration.
                    - Scripture: "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see                            the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25)

 

         B. Newsletters and Bulletins
                    - Keeping members informed about events, initiatives, and opportunities through regular updates.
                    - Scripture: "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." (1 Thessalonians 5:11)

 

         C. Digital Presence
                    - Website, social media, and email communication to reach a wider audience to build and empower the Kingdom of God.

VII. Evaluation and Growth
 

         A. Feedback Mechanisms

                    - Surveys, suggestion boxes, and town hall meetings to gather input from members.
                    - Scripture: "Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed." (Proverbs 15:22)
 

         B. Annual Review
                    - Assessing progress towards goals and identifying areas for improvement.
                    - Scripture: "Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of
                      course, you fail the test?" (2 Corinthians 13:5)

 

         C. Strategic Planning
                    - Setting new goals and adjusting strategies based on feedback and evaluation.

                    - Scripture: "For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it?"

         B. Call to Action
                   - Encouraging active participation and support from all member churches and individuals.

                   - Scripture: "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."                               (Matthew 28:19)
